5 Tips to Get The Most Out of Your Great Love Debate Ticket
So you purchased a ticket to The Great Love Debate and now you’re wondering how to get the most out of the night? Well, you have come to the right place – I am here to help!
Dress to Impress
I am often asked what to wear to the single events I organize, as is often asked of the Great Love Debate “crew” as well. As a single man or woman, you should naturally want to look your best at any forum where you may meet Mr. or Ms. Right. Evening gowns and tuxes would be a little over the top, but say a step or two below would be appropriate. You want to catch someone’s attention? Put your best foot forward: dress to impress!
Arrive 30 to 45 Minutes Before The Show Starts
I bet you’re going to arrive early so you have plenty of time to check in and pick out your seat. While that’s good planning, its not the most important reason to arrive early. First it allows you a great opportunity to grab a drink and socialize with fellow guests and meet the panelists that are mixing and mingling in the lobby. If this idea makes you nervous, don’t worry its totally natural, then the advantage for you is observing and figuring out who you might wish to talk to after the show!
Choose Your Seat Wisely
While the Great Love Debate likes to have the men and women sitting apart from one another- in some theaters that’s not possible. No matter the show’s seating arrangements, pick a seat that either submerges you amongst the opposite sex or on the boundary with the opposite sex. This facilitates opportunities to introduce yourself to as many of the opposite sex as possible and strike up conversations. You never know what may come of it!
Go To The After Party
I know the thought of mixing and mingling with strangers can be an overwhelming experience for many singles. You’d be surprised by how much easier mixing and mingling is after the Great Love Debate. There is a camaraderie that is created at the show and the after party feels much more like socializing with family and friends than talking to strangers. People at the after party are far more open to conversation and talking to one another is a breeze. Its an excellent time to pick up where your pre-show conversation started or start new conversations with those you had scoped out in the lobby before the show.
Come With An Open Mind & Heart
Everyone is at their own place in the dating world but when you come to the Great Love Debate with an open heart and mind you allow yourself to get the most out of it. Not only will you learn from the panel members but also from one another before, during, and after the show. Additionally when you come to the show with an open mind and heart you are open to the various conversations that come your way. You never know when or where you will meet that special someone, but that can’t happen if you’re not open to it. The Great Love Debate is as great a place as any. It’s full of possibilities if you’re open.
